Today's lab is hematology, first lab lesson since this semester. The lesson is about venipuncture, and I would suppose learn how to draw blood from a dummy hand using the expired equipment like the vacutainer tube.
It is quite fun when the moment trying to do it by your own self. And having the idea of poking the dummy hand sound wrong but seem fun! (*Ginnette: it is so wrong that u took the pic of the hand in a weird angle! it is like somebody's hand kana chop off!)

I had poke the hand a couple of time before I really can get the "fake blood" to flow out! After the second trial of drawing blood, finally got to fill the tube in the correct volume! Stupid "hand" so stiff and no blood flowing de, make my life so hard to draw the blood! If it is real human blood, i think the moment i poke the hand for a couple of seconds, it will sure bleed like nobody business.
